CCA Overview & Highlights

The BV English Drama club offers opportunities for students to develop into confident communicators and expressive performers. We strive to challenge perspectives of both performers and audiences through our stagecraft. With a passion for theatre and a commitment to excellence, our members constantly aim to reach new heights in creativity, collaboration, and performance. 

We have consistently pushed ourselves to look beyond our own experiences, fostering empathy by embracing different perspectives. The outstanding performances during Teachers' Day and Character and Citizenship Education programmes have entertained, inspired, and deeply connected with student audiences. Our plays have explored themes of social cohesion and identity, engaging viewers in meaningful conversations. By working as a team, our members build a strong sense of community and togetherness, enabling them to achieve great things together. 

Our club's commitment to artistry and excellence is a testament to the power of passion, hard work, and collaboration. By embracing these values, we have shown that no challenge is insurmountable, and with dedication, we can achieve anything we set our minds to. The drama members rose to the occasion at the Singapore Youth Festival Arts Presentation 2025, where their hard work and resilience culminated in their achievement of the coveted Certificate of Accomplishment.
