CCA Overview & Highlights
The BV English Drama Club offers opportunities for students to develop into confident communicators and expressive performers. We strive to challenge the perspectives of both performers and audiences through our stagecraft. With a passion for theatre and a commitment to excellence, our members constantly aim to reach new heights in creativity, collaboration and performance.
We consistently push ourselves to look beyond our own experiences, fostering empathy by embracing different perspectives. Our performances explore meaningful themes such as social cohesion and identity, engaging audiences while encouraging reflection and conversation. Through working together, our members also develop teamwork, resilience and a strong sense of belonging.
In 2026, our Drama members participated in the ACJC Physical Theatre Festival, where they had the opportunity to explore physical theatre and broaden their performance experience. They also took to the stage during the school's National Day celebrations and Teachers’ Day celebrations, bringing their creativity, energy and teamwork to the school community.
Our club's commitment to artistry and excellence is a testament to the power of passion, hard work and collaboration. At the Singapore Youth Festival Arts Presentation 2025, our members rose to the occasion, with their hard work and resilience culminating in the achievement of the coveted Certificate of Accomplishment.
